POST-SURGICAL REHABILITATION

PHYSIOTHERAPY AND SPORTS MEDICINE

MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPY

NEUROVASCULAR REHABILITATION
POST-SURGICAL REHABILITATION
Post-surgical rehabilitation integrates kinesitherapy, therapeutic exercise and all the technologies that the physiotherapist uses to achieve maximum patient recovery following surgery.
The quality of the physiotherapy process is also determined by the use of high-tech devices such as FREMS ™, which are available to the physiotherapy center. The reduction of recovery time, within the therapeutic path, is one of the main objectives for both physiotherapists and patients.
FREMS ™ technology represents a fundamental clinical support in this type of rehabilitation, both to accelerate recovery time and to control pain and reduce tissue inflammation.

TREATED PATHOLOGIES
Control of inflammation
Inflammation states, Hematomas
Pain control
Neuralgia, Algodystrophy, Deafferentation pain
Treatment of scars
Surgical dehiscences, Keloids
Vascular treatment
Lymphatic edema, Venous stasis
PHYSIOTHERAPY AND SPORTS MEDICINE
Physiotherapy and sports medicine include different types of services for patients. Every year in Italy more than 400,000 people are treated by physiotherapists and doctors who are experts in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries in sports patients.
Sports physiotherapy is an increasingly growing specialization, with various clinics dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries.
FREMS ™ is fully part of the high-tech instrumentation for the treatment of the main pathologies in sports within multidisciplinary therapeutic paths, particularly in the acute phase where it is an effective treatment as an alternative to drugs.

TREATED PATHOLOGIES
Joint pathologies
Upper and lower limbs and spine
Tendinopathies
Tendinosis, insertional and muscle tendonitis
Fracture results
Joint inflammation
Bursitis and Capsulitis
Muscle trauma
Bruises, strains and muscle injuries
Pain therapy
Burning and neuralgic pain and painful paraesthesia
Prevention and cool-down
Recovery of muscle tone, cool down, D.O.M.S.
MUSCULOSKELETAL PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy is a rapidly growing branch of medicine. Today in Italy more than 8 million people rely on a physiotherapist due to a painful condition affecting the musculoskeletal system.
The musculoskeletal physiotherapist is a healthcare professional who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders.
The techniques used include: motor rehabilitation, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise together with the use of physical therapy supported by scientific research such as FREMS ™. The specific combination of techniques, methods and technologies varies according to the clinical condition being treated.

TREATED PATHOLOGIES
Joint pathologies
Carpal tunnel syndrome, Arthritis, Arthrosis, Bursitis, Trauma outcomes, Dislocation outcomes, Inflammation states, Hematomas
Pathologies of the spine
Cervical trauma, Herniated disc pain, Cervicobrachialgia, Osteoarthritis, Lumbosciatalgia
Tendon pathologies
Tendinopathy, Epicondylitis
Muscle pathologies
Fibrosis, Contracture, Muscle injury, Pubalgia
Neuromuscular disorders
Myofascial Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Muscular Hypotonus
Pain therapy
Neuralgia, Algodystrophy, Deafferentation pain
NEUROVASCULAR REHABILITATION
Neurovascular rehabilitation refers to the treatment of pathologies caused by alterations in the microcirculation, peripheral nervous system and skin.
These are alterations caused mostly by diabetes. About 30% of people with diabetes have painful diabetic neuropathy and eventually develop ulcers that can lead to amputation.
FREMS ™ is efficient in the treatment and prevention of skin ulcers, as it promotes tissue granulation and re-epithelialization in the treatment of painful diabetic neuropathies and vascular and compression syndromes.

TREATED PATHOLOGIES
Ulcers of various etiology
Nneuroischemic, arterial, venous, mixed, pressure and neuropathic ulcers
Pathologies of the microcirculation
Tinnitus, Raynaud’s disease, edematous states
Vasculopathies
Microangiopathies, venous stasis
Neuropathies
Peripheral neuropathies
